The unit has significant issues with humidity and dampness, to the point that most of our belongings grew mould on them. You have to run the heat pump, or dehumidifier, 24/7 to combat some of the damp. The sliding door is sketchy and leaks, which goes onto the bare wood underneath the carpet tiles. Large spiders and cockroaches become your new unwelcome flatmates. Landlord has a spare key in the lockbox and may direct others to enter without your permission. The view is stunning, but the house isn't worth it.

This place was a really nice little apartment. An older building but with a building manager that was always very responsive to needs. We were there under the company oxygen and they were pretty good when it came to issues. Downsides was that it was kind of small and was rented as a two bedroom but would be more like a 1.5 br which worked fine for us as a couple. It was pretty cold in winter as it was a concrete building so not a lot of insulation but once you turned on the space heater it would be warmed pretty quickly. Minor mould issues- more particularly in the bathroom and a couple of items in the back of cupboards but not much compared to the entirety of Wellington. Would suggest <3

Kia Ora fellow Otautahi's renters, First of I would like say thank you for this Admin, flatreviews is so important. To all of us. If their are any questions please don't hesitate to ask me. I've lived in many! countries and rented many places around the world 🗺️ In the end of the day I believe WE ALL have the RIGHT to peaceful living and a roof over our heads, especially in 2025! I have lived in this property for many months and I have never been so disrespected and was very intrusive to my personal life! The landlord was always around, never cleaning or checking up on the property or his tenants, he was always busy making noise and using loud machines. the utilities were very neglected. Be warned - this place is not to be trusted! Cheers

The house is really nice, freshly renovated, small but cosy outdoor area with 2 avo trees :) House is not so warm, in the winter time you'll get your windows' condensation dripping on the floor, unless you'll make a "double glaze" with window insulator kit from Bunnings. One of the big minuses - no heating in bathroom at all, pretty chilly in winter. The area is great - a few minutes walk to Milford centre with shops and cafes, 10 minutes walk to Milford beach. Neighbours are very quiet, we havent heard anyone around throwing a party till 3 am if you know what i mean :D Otherwise the house is nice, agent and landlord are good too, we had everything fixed and replaced promptly.

The Area is nice enough apart from constantly barking dogs. The room I stayed in has no double glazing so it is always cold in winter and you can feel a draft constantly. Property owner has a terrible attitude. Make sure to get an agreement written up and take a picture of the room before otherwise you won't get your bond back when you move out. Fire alarm wasn't present in the rooms or hallway till this year. Damaged fixtures not fixed for a long time (bathroom lights/ Light switches).

Non healthy homes compliant upon move in, door panel leading outside smashed, deodoriser left in toilet and we were asked to move in a day after (tenancy started 01/12/2021) so the agent could clean the property. Bucket of paint left in the garage that started to leak over everything which they said we had to clean/dispose. Pipe burst and house flooded while still non-HH compliant and some fans were brought in to dry the carpet. Rained quite heavy one night and soaked flatmates bed and the solution - borrow a dehum and more fans! They didn't feel the need to check how the water came in, just paint over it she'll be right.

Perfect sunny little pad for me and my cat. Felt very relaxed, safe and private. Great neighbours. Its peaceful even though its quite a densely populated street. The Landlord is respectful and easy going. Responded quickly when i had a problem with the washing machine. Would abide again 10/10.

Loved living here. Good for single people. It's a small studio, but so comfy, convenient location and compact. Not much storage as it is a hotel room. But I had the best year living here. It's safe as for young single women! Highly recommend.

The house was horrendous. When we moved in, the oven was faulty. We made the landlord aware of this right away. He took a look at it, googled replacements in front of us, saw that secondhand cooking ranges on trademe retailed for about $900, and told us to "buy something from kmart, I'll reimburse you upto $200" When we viewed the house, we asked if he would take the items (read: garbage) he had stored in the garage. In the year we lived there, he only cleared it out after we moved out. The house was COVERED in mould. And did not comply with Healthy Homes. No HRV. He asked us to chip in for the $3000 to install HRV. He gave us 63 days to move out when we complained about the loss of items to mould. He charged us fixed water charges

It’s a beautiful home but what it exceeds in style, it lacks in substance. It’s a really cold and damp home. The bottom floor room has ceiling to floor doors which did not lock properly when we were there. We had unsealed windows and it was like camping but indoors. There were mornings we could see our breath in the house. We received a falsified healthy homes statement, had about 4 property agents change across a year and getting something fixed until the last agent stepped in was a nightmare. Took them to the tenancy tribunal and won because of bad heating standards and a lack of a healthy homes report presented to us. It’s a beautiful house but the people managing/owning it don’t do a good job of maintaining it
